We booked the Spencer’s Snorkelling Adventure and everything about the experience was excellent. We were taken to 2 dive sites and the snorkelling was amazing. We also taken by high speed boat to two beautiful beaches and on the last beach Sugar Bay we were served a lovely lunch. All the staff from the boat driver, tour guide and cook were friendly, helpful and did their utmost to make sure we had an enjoyable day. I would definitely book another trip with them when we are next in St Lucia.

We had the best day ever visiting the Volcano, waterfalls, Pitons, snorkeling (saw beautiful coral, fish, eels, squid, and so many other fabulous things)…it was a day we will never forget!! We have taken 11 cruises and this was by far our favorite one yet! And St Lucia…AMAZING❤️

We scheduled a full day trip in St. Lucia for our 3-generation family of 7 ages 9-75yrs. with Spencer Ambrose Tours. We chose their full-day Land/Sea Tour as we love the water, swimming and snorkeling but also wanted to see some other parts of the island and meet some local people too. Spencer Ambrose Tours responsed to our emails was immediate and always very helpful. And it was a wonderful decision!

We met She-She, our guide and Spencer Ambrose’s daughter, immediately at the location described in their email to us, and while we had to wait about 20 minutes for another group to get there she and I had a nice discussion. We then walked to a neighboring dock and got on one of two boats they had that day, meeting our driver, and the driver of the second boat, both very friendly and funny. One was She-She’s father and one her uncle. We started our day with a fun and interesting boat tour of the coast and some lovely small coves with beautiful houses. Heading to other end of the island we disembarked in Soufriere and loaded into a couple of mini-vans. Our family had our own van together and She-She stayed with us all day. The vans drove us to the volcano where we walked up to see the bubbling pools of mud, swim in Toraille Waterfall and get a botanical tour of the locally grown produce as we passed the banana and nut trees. We reloaded the boats and continued on water for our two hour stay at Jalousie/Sugar Beach.

The beach wasn’t crowded while we were there so there were enough beach chairs and a little shade for us to sit by the end of the beach where the snorkeling was. This is where we ate our grilled lunch of BBQ chicken and locally grown vegetables and salads, wonderful freshly picked fruits like mangos and bananas, better tasting than any we had ever had before. We swam and snorkeled under the Pitons.

And on our boat return heading back towards the cruise ship we toured additional areas of the coastline seeing some caves and an lovely land bridge out into the water, complete with some very young cliff divers.

Everything about this trip was well planned, and organized. The few delays caused by unforeseen problems were not a problem for us, and She-she and Spencer managed them very well. We were even treated to warm light rain on the water which didn’t dampened our spirits and were rewarded with a beautiful, long rainbow at as we headed back to our cruise ship.

While the tour initially seemed pricey, it was the only full-day tour of our cruise, and we all felt it was the best day of the whole week. I, and we, strongly recommend this tour of this lovely island, its land and its sea. Thank you She-She, Spencer, and all your wonderful staff. It was a wonderful experience.

From the time we met up with Spencer until the time we were brought back to the ship our experience could not have been better. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We started in a car with Neptune, who was very informative, took us around the island from banana plantation, to volcanoes, to waterfall and beautiful scenery. We ended at a wonderful beach, with the most delicious lunch, and of course the speed boat ride back to the ship. I want to thank the Spencer Ambrose group for an unforgettable day.

We had a fabulous time on this tour! Spencer met with us at the pier and was very friendly and inviting. The speed boat was a lot of fun! Lunch was great! Beer was great!

If in St. Lucia again we will be booking with Spencer! I was a little nervous about booking a tour not through the ship (first time I’ve done that) but it was all great and I surely wasn’t disappointed!

Had a great day at a beautiful island! Very friendly staff that took care of us all day and returned us to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Highly recommend!

We did so many things on our weeks cruise but the memory of this day will stay with us forever. We booked the ‘Land, sea and beach adventure’. Spencer was not with us but the crew we had were so attentive. My wife has a mobility issue and they did everything in their power to make her day as easy as possible, even getting boats moved off the jetty so that she could easily step into the boat. To townies like ourselves the blast along the coast at 30 knots was exhilarating to say the least. We chose the volcanic mud option which certainly gave us a laugh and we were able to wash it off in a waterfall. After another blast in the boat we spent several hours on Sugar beach between the Pitons. We drank rum punch, swam and had a wonderful lunch. The crew were looking after us all the time, they were determined that we would have a good time. We did not want to leave. I thought the journey back to the cruise terminal would simply be another blast, but we went in and out of coves and were given lots of information from the crew. We saw young boys diving from high up off the cliff into the water below for tips and millionaires yachts.

It was a perfect day, thank you Spencer and your wonderful crew.

My husband and I went on Spencer’s Snorkeling Adventure. The crew were fabulous. They took us to 2 amazing beaches and pointed out fabulous sites from the boat, such as the Pitons. The snorkeling was great! I highly recommend this company.

We chose Spencer Ambrose tours after reading some reviews on Trip Advisor and thought that it would be nice to give it a shot. The price was right so, why not. We were immediately greeted when we got off of the boat by Spencer and our guide Small. We initially travelled in a nice vehicle all over the island of St Lucia. We had the opportunity to stop at a banana plantation and sample local goodies and then we went on to the Volcano. After the volcano we went to visit the 50ft waterfall where we had the opportunity to stand under it and wade in the pool. All the while we were traveling, our guide was very engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. We made some stops to take photos and then we were off to Jalouise Beach. Okay, don’t waste your time snorkeling anywhere else. This beach was fantastic. We reached the beach by a small speed boat and that was also a wonderful ride. We had a lunch on the beach that was provided for us and it was a sampling of local favorites which included BBQ chicken and some assorted sides. We were provided beverages throughout the tour as well as on the island. Beverages included Piton Beer as well as rum punch. water and soda. We have done many excursions and adventures on the islands when we cruise and this one was HANDS DOWN the best we have ever done. If you are fortunate enough to be in St. Lucia, DO NOT MISS SPENCER AMBROSE TOURS.

Side note: If you get motion sickness easily, make certain you take something prior to getting in the vehicle. The roads in St. Lucia are winding and can cause you to be car sick easily.

This was by far one of the best times we had on our trip. The whole crew was so friendly and fun. Despite a few showers, it was absolutely wonderful. The lunch was delicious. I’m so glad I booked with you guys! Hope to see you in my next travels again!
