We had a tour for 4 scheduled for pickup at the dock on Pigeon Island which is where our tender was supposed to be dropping us off. Unbeknownst to us (and our cruise ship initially) the dock was under repair and we were instead dropped off at The Moorings in Rodney Bay which is a COMPLETELY different location. Slightly panicked that we would not make our tour I was trying to figure out if we could easily taxi over to Pigeon Island. When we got off the tender and onto the dock at The Moorings Jiggy from Spencer Ambrose was actually waiting for us! He had seen the Pigeon Island dock was under repair and followed our tender over in a boat to The Moorings. We were so impressed and relieved. We ended up having another 4 from our ship who were on the tender with us decide to join us for the day and we had a terrific time in the mud baths, waterfall and on Sugar Beach. The “boxed” lunch we were served was terrific (jerk chicken, piece of lasagna, rice and beans, cole slaw, plantains). Great job : )

Such an amazing day experiencing Saint Lucia with Giggie and Dan the Man. From the speed boat ride, to the mud baths, to the waterfall and then our lunch, beverages swimming at the beach. Beautiful, beautiful island. Lots of information from Giggie about the island’s history and attractions and even his riddles and jokes. The beverages flowed at the beach and on our return trip to the port. So much laughter. Even though Giggie was there to help, it was a little difficult and scary for me to board and get off the boat. Only thing that would have made it better would have been music on the boat. Needed music to complete the package.

We were a group of 10 that arrived on NCL Viva cruise. We booked with Spencer Tours after reading positive reviews on Cruise Critic. Even though NCL changed our port times at the last minute, the tour operators were able to quickly modify our day and ensure we were picked up early and back in port with more than enough time to do some shopping. A shout out to Andy, Lisa and Jiggy for supplying some interesting island history and plenty of laughs along the way. These are three people that clearly enjoy their job and showing off their wonderful island.

I booked a tour to Sugar Beach for a group of 10 friends and we all loved it. The tour guides were fun, informative, and kind. The island was beautiful and the beach and snorkeling were amazing. Crystal clear water and lots of fish. We had the lunch provided by the tour and it was delicious! Very authentic food and very, very good. I would absolutely book a tour through Spencer Ambrose again!

This was our second time visiting St Lucia and Spencer Ambrose. We first went on his tour back in 2013 and it was the highlight of our trip. The pitons, Sugar Beach, ‘Lover’s Arch’, the bat cave, and the water tours were fantastic. Spencer has a great team that are full of fun and it makes for a day you will never forget. When you visit St Lucia, a day with Spencer is a must!

I brought a group of 16 on the Land & Sea tour from Spencer Ambrose. We all had a fabulous time from the mud baths to the speed boat around the island. The snorkeling was wonderful and the views were unforgettable. Thanks so much!

We took a private boat tour in St. Lucia with Spencer Ambrose Tours. WOW did we have FUN!! Captain Marvin and tour guide, Marielle were absolutely FANTASTIC!! When we weren’t busy taking in the breathtaking views, we were laughing our butts off. These two are the ‘A Team.’ We are coming back and DEFINITELY looking them both up again!

Excellent excursion from start to finish. Easy online booking before we left UK, and Spencer kept us updated and responded swiftly to e-mail enquiries. Precise pick up instructions provided and we were duly collected and transferred to the speed boat.

Well looked after by the crew, who provided useful info as we cruised south towards Jalousie (Sugar) beach, with a few stops at scenic spots along the way. There was a delay at one drop off point while we waited for ice – but understandable as the beer needs to be kept cold!
Jalousie beach itself was as perfect as I’d hoped, nestled between the 2 Pitons, and we had plenty of time there to snorkel and sunbathe. We had perfect weather (apparently it had rained solidly for 7 days beforehand so we were lucky). Decent lunch provided by the crew, and Piton beers freely distributed during lunch and on the speed boat trip back, with the crew helping foster a party atmosphere.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day, and would wholeheartedly recommend Spencer Tours – do not worry about going with them rather than a cruise ship excursion; they will get you back safely in plenty of time!

Our boat trip to Sugar Beach was wonderful. We had a lot of complainers on our boat but my wife and I had a wonderful day. Jiggy was a great tour guide, pointing out many beautiful places along the St.Lucia coastline. Sugar beach was beautiful, the snorkeling was so great, and the food was delicious! We had a really nice day.

We really enjoyed the speedboat with a stop at Sugar Beach. Dan the Man and Mariel took great care of us. We were a little disappointed that there were no chairs, and that is the only complaint. Lunch was great and we enjoyed Mariel’s rum punch. Yum!
