This excursion was exactly what I wanted: a fun fast boat ride to the beach that is closest to the Pitons. We brought our own snorkel gear and got right in when we arrived. There was SO much to see: schools of blue fish, yellow fish, lots of needle gar-type fish, tube sponges, coral & rocks, saw an eel (!), and some “sea robins” (strange-looking puffer-type fish). Got out and spread our towels on the nice soft white sand beach. They served us lunch (bbq plate) and handed out drinks. We snorkeled again on the other side, where it’s shallower for swimming. Still awesome — with grass on the bottom, where we saw little yellow fish and a small sea snake type of eel. The water is perfectly refreshing, so clear, warm enough for me to stay in (!). The boat ride back to port was a blast! Brianna and Lisa were wonderful keeping us entertained and handing out drinks. The captain and the other guy (Don ?) did a great job also. We would highly recommend this excursion with Spencer Ambrose. See you again!

I highly recommend booking with Spencer Ambrose Tours, specifically the Sugar Beach Break. Sugar Beach is absolutely breathtaking and the views of the Pitons from the beach are spectacular. The water is crystal clear, is great for snorkeling, and great for swimming. The lunch and drinks provided were very good as well. Communication from the time of booking up until the tour was very clear. The speed boat ride to the beach was great as the tour guide pointed out plenty of things about the island and we saw other towns and beaches along the way.

Additionally, Spencer and our tour guide were in communication with my fiancee before the tour to help plan a special proposal on the beach. Our tour guide went above and beyond and helped to capture our proposal with great pictures and videos. The day was so special and we will remember it forever. Our family of 6 all enjoyed the boat tour. We enjoyed the stops that were made along the way. St Lucia shoreline is gorgeous, we would not have seen the views if we hadn’t taken the tour. Brianna was so friendly and kind. Sugar Beach was amazing and we had plenty of time to enjoy. We would definitely recommend Ambrose Tours

We had a tour for 4 scheduled for pickup at the dock on Pigeon Island which is where our tender was supposed to be dropping us off. Unbeknownst to us (and our cruise ship initially) the dock was under repair and we were instead dropped off at The Moorings in Rodney Bay which is a COMPLETELY different location. Slightly panicked that we would not make our tour I was trying to figure out if we could easily taxi over to Pigeon Island. When we got off the tender and onto the dock at The Moorings Jiggy from Spencer Ambrose was actually waiting for us! He had seen the Pigeon Island dock was under repair and followed our tender over in a boat to The Moorings. We were so impressed and relieved. We ended up having another 4 from our ship who were on the tender with us decide to join us for the day and we had a terrific time in the mud baths, waterfall and on Sugar Beach. The “boxed” lunch we were served was terrific (jerk chicken, piece of lasagna, rice and beans, cole slaw, plantains). Great job : )

Such an amazing day experiencing Saint Lucia with Giggie and Dan the Man. From the speed boat ride, to the mud baths, to the waterfall and then our lunch, beverages swimming at the beach. Beautiful, beautiful island. Lots of information from Giggie about the island’s history and attractions and even his riddles and jokes. The beverages flowed at the beach and on our return trip to the port. So much laughter. Even though Giggie was there to help, it was a little difficult and scary for me to board and get off the boat. Only thing that would have made it better would have been music on the boat. Needed music to complete the package.

We were a group of 10 that arrived on NCL Viva cruise. We booked with Spencer Tours after reading positive reviews on Cruise Critic. Even though NCL changed our port times at the last minute, the tour operators were able to quickly modify our day and ensure we were picked up early and back in port with more than enough time to do some shopping. A shout out to Andy, Lisa and Jiggy for supplying some interesting island history and plenty of laughs along the way. These are three people that clearly enjoy their job and showing off their wonderful island.

I booked a tour to Sugar Beach for a group of 10 friends and we all loved it. The tour guides were fun, informative, and kind. The island was beautiful and the beach and snorkeling were amazing. Crystal clear water and lots of fish. We had the lunch provided by the tour and it was delicious! Very authentic food and very, very good. I would absolutely book a tour through Spencer Ambrose again!

This was our second time visiting St Lucia and Spencer Ambrose. We first went on his tour back in 2013 and it was the highlight of our trip. The pitons, Sugar Beach, ‘Lover’s Arch’, the bat cave, and the water tours were fantastic. Spencer has a great team that are full of fun and it makes for a day you will never forget. When you visit St Lucia, a day with Spencer is a must!

I brought a group of 16 on the Land & Sea tour from Spencer Ambrose. We all had a fabulous time from the mud baths to the speed boat around the island. The snorkeling was wonderful and the views were unforgettable. Thanks so much!

We took a private boat tour in St. Lucia with Spencer Ambrose Tours. WOW did we have FUN!! Captain Marvin and tour guide, Marielle were absolutely FANTASTIC!! When we weren’t busy taking in the breathtaking views, we were laughing our butts off. These two are the ‘A Team.’ We are coming back and DEFINITELY looking them both up again!
