Spencer’s tour was AMAZING!!!  I have no words to express how grateful we are to Spencer and his staff. They treated us like family and we were very satisfied with the tour. They took us to different beaches and allowed us to take our time to relax and enjoy. We were never rushed in fact we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy the day. We loved the boat ride and sugar beach was spectacular. They provide us with unlimited beverages and a delicious home made lunch. We got to swim between the Pitons. I can summarized this experience as AMAZING!!!! I 100% recommend Spencer’s tour. Best of Saint Lucia.

Highly recommend Spencer Ambrose Tours! I booked their Anse Chastanet & Sugar Beach excursion during my stay on St Lucia and could not have been happier with how my experience went. I was picked up in a speed boat which I thought was very cool/unique and was provided with my pickup time and clear instructions on how to get to the pickup point well in advance. The captain and crew arrived right on time and were super friendly and professional. I spent about 2 hours on Anse Chastanet and then the captain came back to pick me up and bring me to Sugar Beach where the rest of the group was. Everyone on the excursion was provided lunch around mid-day at Sugar Beach and drinks were provided on the boat as well as during our time on the beach. On our way back the captain even stopped the boat where there was a perfect view of the Pitons so that everyone could take pictures. I truly enjoyed my excursion with Spencer Ambrose Tours and felt safe the entire time – as a solo traveler this was very important to me! I could not have asked for a better day and would love to book more excursions with them on future trips to St. Lucia.

Highly Recommend Spencer Ambrose Speedboat Tours in St. Lucia. Spencer was our host and highlighted many landmark spots as we cruise at high speeds along the beautiful coastline. We captured beautiful pictures of the world famous Pitons, visited the Sulfur Mud Bath, Natural Waterfall and finally fantastic snorkeling at Sugar Beach within a few footsteps from the shoreline.

Spencer Ambrose met us at port for our Sugar Beach Break. Unfortunately, due to other commitments Spencer himself couldn’t take us on our tour but did leave us in the very capable hands of Akim & Titus. There were a couple of no shows for our tour which meant there were only 6 of us on the boat that day, Spencer was surely going to take a financial hit taking so few people out on this particular trip. Spencer assured us the trip would go ahead and we would have a very good time, drinks and lunch included. Spencer was as good as his word. Akim and Titus were friendly and knowledgeable right from the start.

A fast boat ride to Sugar beach and a wonderful day was to be had. At the beach Titus was left with us to look after us, telling us to find a nice spot, if snorkeling then look but don’t touch, swim in the designated swim area and drinks are on hand if needed, lunch would be served later.

Sugar beach is beautiful, sat in between St. Lucia’s fabulous famous Pitons with a roped off conservation area where you can snorkel. Sun beds are available for hire from the resort at the beach but be warned are very expensive. The underwater life is fantastic, Parrot fish of many sizes and colours, Box fish, huge Pipe fish and Angel fish of all sizes. Schools of Cuttle fish constantly changing colour and hundreds of small colourful fish that seem to come to greet you. The deeper the water the bigger the fish. Easy snorkeling for the average swimmer. I did see swimmers using small life jacket for snorkeling, excellent if you may be a little unsure of the water. Titus looked after us superbly, taking time to chat, offer drinks and brought us an excellent Creole lunch later, there was plenty to eat.

Akim came to pick us all up towards the end of the afternoon and took us sight seeing on the way back to the Britannia. St. Lucia is beautiful. Titus and Akim are very knowledgeable and would happily chat about anything we would ask them. We stopped at a little bay with a bunch of lads shouting from the cliffs, Titus told us for a few dollars they would put on a diving show for us and they did just that. They were far braver than I ever could be. If you get chance to see them dip in your pocket and see them perform. Akim took us into Marigot Bay, where the rich people live, it was spectacular with huge boats, swaying palm trees and mangroves all around. Titus showed where Mick Jagger and George Foreman’s house were. Then a nice ride back to port.

The Pandemic struck hard in the Caribbean with hardship for most of the population for over 2 years. People relied on tourism and there was no income whatsoever for most of them during the crisis. Spencer Ambrose somehow managed to keep his business despite the Pandemic and is only just managing his way back to normality as the tourism picks back up. I know he suffered deep financial loss and personal tragedy through the Pandemic so if visiting St. Lucia consider Spencer Ambrose for your excursions, he is good at what he does and makes sure he and his team give you a wonderful experience. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Spencer is the best, don’t waste your time booking through a tour through the cruise line when you can do so much more and see so much more with Spencer. We did the Land and Sea tour with Spencer a few years ago and it was fantastic. It was one of the best days we had on our vacation.

We’ve traveled to St Lucia before but the Anse Chastanet and Jalousie Beach tour made this visit to St Lucia the best one yet! We were on the NCL Gem and chose Spencer Ambrose because of all of the good reviews, I’m so glad we did! Our Captains Shane and Brian were amazing- they were so professional and we had a blast! We will definitely be back and will certainly be booking through Spencer Ambrose again! Thanks for such a great, worry free, fun time!

We had a great experience with Spencer Ambrose tours. They picked us up very close to the cruise ship around 8:30 and drove us by speedboat around the island to the Pitons. Along the way, they did drop off a couple of groups of people doing other tours. One thing to note – the speedboat was VERY bumpy going over some large ocean waves. To be expected, and no one on our boat got sick from it, but it wasn’t the most comfortable ride there.
We were set up with a local guide for the Gros Piton hike and were given 4 hours to climb up to the top and back down to the beach. We were able to do it in 3 hours 15 minutes (we are 29 year olds with a decent fitness level), although it was one of the harder hikes we have done. It is very humid, and there are some extremely steep and rocky sections that were challenging us. Spencer Ambrose provided us with 8 bottles of water between the 2 of us to make sure we were sufficiently hydrated, and we are very thankful that they did. It was very worth it, however, for the views from the top and the sense of accomplishment. Afterwards, they picked us back up from the beach and brought us to a resort with the other groups for a packed lunch and a little relaxation time. The food was all local and very good, along with free local beer and water/soft drinks. They offered us a little time to snorkel if we wanted to, even though we did not sign up for that. On the way back, the guides gave us a little history of all the towns on the coast along with some wine and drinks. It was a much more pleasant boat ride back into town. We got back in plenty of time to browse the shops around the cruise port before we had to get back on the boat by 4:00. All in all, a fantastic experience.

We were a party of three people and our first time going with Spencer Tours. And we are so happy that we did!!
The speedboat ride, the mud bath, waterfall and lunch on the beach was amazing! The crew was so friendly and outgoing made everyone comfortable. We saw so much on the ride back it was very interesting and informative. Those boys jumping off the cliff was crazy.

We will definitely be going back to Spencer tours when we go back to St. Lucia. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel like family.
